Join us for a time of education, inspiration, relaxation AND FUN, FUN, FUN with your friends and colleagues, at the Weber Center in Adrian, Michigan.  This year’s retreat focuses on spiritual resiliency and renewal.  Dr. Donald C. Guthrie is one of three authors of Resilient Ministry: What Pastors Told Us About Surviving and Thriving.
As a full-time pastor, I have my choices of which conferences to attend - and the NACCC Ministers' Convocation is one I choose to go to almost every year. It's great all the way around: I really enjoy the chance to connect and fellowship with pastors from sister churches. I enjoy the element of retreat, for rest, relaxation, and learning. It comes right at the perfect time for this in the year - just after the Easter rush. And the speakers and programs are always informative and helpful. It also plans out well; since it starts on a Monday night and ends on Thursday morning I can easily make it back in time for weekend ministry at my church.

I highly recommend it for everyone, and hope to see you there!
Andrew McHenry
First Congregational Church of Emporia, Kansas

Dr. Guthrie is professor of educational ministries at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois and has held various other positions, including campus minster and vice president for academics.  He has directed several university-sponsored conferences and programs.
In 1976 I attended my first NACCC Minister’s Convocation as a CFTS seminary student.  Since then I have missed a few, but have always tried to make it a point of attending.  And here’s why:  I enjoy the program, the fellowship of other clergy and the time to rest and relax after Easter.  This year I am coming from Cape Cod.  I will most likely be the person who has come the farthest.  And I am looking forward to it.  The program looks great.  Old and new friends will be there.  And the retreat center in Adrian is the best I have ever been to.  I expect to learn a lot and laugh a lot.

So, I hope you will attend as well.  I look forward to seeing you there.  After Lent and Easter we all need the break.  This is perfect.

Rev. Phil Jackson, Senior Minister,
First Congregational Church of Yarmouth, Ma

We will also be joined by Sister Joan Ebbitt who will introduce us to Spiritual Direction and lead us in some interactive exercises.

Come worship with colleagues and hear the stories of spiritual journeys that have given shape to their ministries and callings.

The Weber Center extends to us their warm hospitality with beautiful facilities and grounds, good food and peaceful areas for personal reflection and prayer.  The smoke-free facility features private rooms (double or single) with baths. All floors have internet access (for those of you who absolutely cannot unplug!)  Set on 100 acres of woodland ideal for walking, there is also an outdoor labyrinth and circle meditation garden.

The Weber Center is an hour and a half from Detroit’s Metro airport.  You may call the Weber Center to arrange for airport pick up and drop off for a nominal fee.  The Center is also half an hour from Toledo, Ohio and Ann Arbor, Michigan.

For more information, contact Marie Steele at msteele@naccc.org.  To register, download and print the following registration form and return to the Center for Congregational Leadership, 320 South Main Street, Olivet College, Olivet, MI  49076
